Young People

YOUNG PEOPLE

Are you aged 16-25 and want Mediation?

If you are a young person over 16, you have the right to be fully involved in mediation or disagreement resolution yourself.

To take part in mediation you can be supported by your parents, an advocate or other supporter of your choice. It is important that you are enabled to participate fully in decisions about your education, health, care and the future you want in adult life. Our team have extensive experience in directly supporting young people to be fully involved in decisions and mediation.

Having helped hundreds of children, young people and their parents in this situation, it's the SEN mediation process that's really essential to fast-tracking a child-focused resolution.

SCROLL DOWN
THE PROCESS

There's always something that people didn't ask, didn't know, didn't understand or 'assumed otherwise' that we look to find, and that helps everyone then work out the best (and quickest) way forwards.

Contact Us

Scan (or use your cameraphone to take a picture of) your LA decision letter and email it to to us - please make sure this is well within 2 months of the date of your LA letter.
Include your name, your parent's, advocate's or other supporter's name, and phone number in your email.

Book An Appointment

We will be in touch to schedule your initial telephone mediation appointment. Please note you must leave enough time (usually 7 days) for your appointment to be within 2 months of the date of your LA decision letter, so don't leave it to the last minute (or else you will be 'out-of-time.')

We Handle the Rest!

We will make all the necessary arrangements preparing everyone involved for the SEN Mediation process. We also handle all Outcome and Certification documentation (including Certification if you are going to Tribunal).
Note: Mediation information for Part 1 Certification (Tribunal) is provided on a telephone appointments basis only. Please email requesting an appointment.
